Before each Mother’s Day, we partner with FAAM (the Free Atlanta Abolition Movement), Atlanta’s Black autonomous bail foundation, to bail out local Black Mama’s and to bring attention to the more than half-million people in jail who have not been convicted of any crime, but don’t have the money to post bail.

 

Our goal is to free as many Black mamas and caregivers as we can so they can spend Mother’s Day with their families and in their communities. Once they are released from pre-trial detention centers, we connect them with the supportive services they need.
